I KNOW YOU WANT IT!!! It's sold at the Japanese Zon Dealer, Kurosawa Gakki http://www.kurosawagakki.com/sh_bass/zon.html and while your at it, buy me this D
Damn you for posting a maple top that I actually like. There goes my reputation. The upward sweep of the quilt and the downward curve of the fingerboard are really beautiful. Damn you.
Sorry, but I think that fingerboard extension is ridiculous. I played a Ritter Raptor a couple months ago, which has the same type of fingerboard, and I found it pretty much impossible to play those high notes. Unless you know how to use thumb position on an electirc bass, just forget about it. If it had a huge cut away like the Michael Manring bass, that would be different. By the way, that Koa top on that five string Legacy looks amazing.
Jason, you are thinking of a 5 string again? I thought that you had decided that your hands were too small.
who said they were too small for ZON 5s I kinda regret selling that Zon Sonus 5 Special.. I MISS It alot :~( But I'm glad it got to a nice home and a great player (neptoon). I don't know, I always have that era where I want a 5 .. and Zon 5s were the best D
Zon definitely has one of the most playable 5 string necks around, especially if you have small hands. Mine aren't that big either. I love the neck on my Sonus Custom 5.
In that case, you should get this: <img src="http://i4.ebayimg.com/02/i/00/e1/4a/d3_1_s.JPG"> http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=2580254096&category=4713
I dunno. He must be pretty happy with his TBC lightwave twins. I'm happy with my TBC MM clone thingy.
