FIFA World Cup 2014

Morning Gentlemen!

Below an updated table - like I said -couple of matches can change a lot.

Still waiting on Round 3 predictions from:
Matante, Syzx_ML, MarkMGibson, Revolver -get 'em in lads.

Also as said before (think I mentioned it didn't I? :D ) if Mark, Revolver and Dangnewt want to get predictions in for the last three games of Round 2 before the matches are in play tonight, then go ahead and fire them in - as we see, a couple of results can change things.

So, update after last night:

Not wanting to miss a chance to use Darth's favourite new word, or miss the opportunity to ridicule this clown, here's an article from today's Scottish Daily Record about Baron Bawbag of Barton

"FOOTBALL bad boy Joey Barton spent the night on the floor at Glasgow Airport – and he wasn’t very happy about it.

The millionaire star tore into easyJet on Twitter after his flight from Gatwick to Belfast was diverted to Scotland.

And although the airline offered him a free hotel room in the city, he chose to bed down at the airport so he could get the first plane to Northern Ireland in the morning.

Joey, 31, tweeted: “Having to sleep on the floor of Glasgow Airport despite getting on the plane to Belfast? Fooking SleasyJet...

“I have never witnessed a bigger shambles in my life. Plane full of passengers diverted, young families with kids and one SleasyJet person!”

But Joey did manage to raise a smile after some of his Scots Twitter followers offered to put him up for the night. He told them: “As much as it’s a very kind gesture, I’ve slept in worse places than this.”

Joey also filled in some time by going shopping, buying a Celtic top for son Cassius, two, at the club shop at the airport.

He tweeted: “On the plus side the little man has another kit to add to his growing collection #hailhail.”

QPR midfielder Joey has reinvented himself as a Twitter guru after repeatedly falling foul of his clubs – and the law – when he was younger.

Manchester City fined him six weeks’ wages after he put out a cigar in a youth player’s eye at the club’s 2004 Christmas party. The youngster had been trying to set his shirt on fire.

Joey got a suspended jail term in 2007 after brutally beating up team-mate Ousmane Dabo on City’s training ground, and spent two months in jail in 2008 for attacking a man in his home city of Liverpool.

His prolific tweeting earned him a spot on Question Time last month, but he ended up being called sexist after comparing UKIP to “a really ugly girl”.

Joey was heading to Northern Ireland to work on his coaching badges when his flight was diverted. An easyJet spokeswoman blamed runway maintenance at Belfast and apologised to passengers."

For those who don't know, "HailHail" is a sig. associated with Celtic Supporters, comes from a line in a song:

"Hail! Hail! The Celt's are here"

Pathetic ingratiation attempt -dough-heid.

You look like a stone cold athlete, to me, homes.

Sunday league, about 20 years ago. I was playing up front for The Red Lion against The Drovers Arms.

Even though that team has long since disbanded, when we occasionally bump into each other, at some point there will be an inevitably poignant moment of reminiscence and wistful nostalgia, as one by one, they say..."I remember that goal you scored..."

I'll bet that goal was pretty nifty.
