I was without a computer for a few days so sorry I missed the 3rd round predictions.
My condolences to the Englishmen here. I was rooting for you, or rather, I was rooting against Uruguay.
It must be said that England played like a group of guys who just met this morning. And both sides could have seen 3 or 4 red cards.

As for this game still watching. Leave with some time left in the 1st half to shower, come back to hear Greece is down 1 player. It was a pretty even game but Japan will most likely capitalize.

I hope Cavani lands himself in Manchester United for a juicy contract. That way ManU could get a good player, a class act. And of course, it would force Darkstrike to cheer for an Uruguayan player!!!
BTW I wasn't chased out, I was just disgusted on how offensive the thread was becoming, especially about Suarez. Speaking about that, there were some nifty dives performed by Sterling and Sturridge.

I've cheered Uruguayans before(Diego Forlan was a United player, Guillermo Varela, from Montevideo himself, is a current Manchester United player, albeit in the reserves yet). Always thought Cavani was as you say, a class act, though we have too many strikers as is. What makes you think I have a problem with them as a people? Just that particular one(Suarez) is an utter scumbag. I hate Thierry Henry too, doesn't mean I hate France, or the French.
Japan's gonna kick themselves in the ass for missing so many close opportunities. Oh well tomorrows Italy vs Costa Rica should be good.
Japan had plenty of good looks at the goal they just couldnt seal the deal. Unfortunate.

England almost out. That is a good thing. Jack and Ox get more rest. Stevie Me and Rooney are disappointed. Win/win. I hate that it had to be to that diving cheating race baiting biting scumbag.
And darkstrike is right. I have no dislike for Uruguayans. I just dislike Suarez, who happens to be Uruguayan. I don't like Joey Barton, Samir Nasri, or Clint Dempsey. That doesn't make me Anti Brit/French/American.

Suarez is a classic case of what we see often in sport and music - sublime talent wrapped in a loathsome package. Give the devil his due, everyone knew he was Uruguay's only hope to score and he found space not once but twice and contrary to what I thought - no diving. England played attractive football but didn't get results. I hope England sticks to this style because the results will come.
Ivory Coast crossing was appalling. Genuine pace in the Colombian team, pity Falcao is missing.
Appropriate Suarez got both goals. He is one of the best 5 attacking players in the world.
England missed the 3 Arsenal players, Wishire, Walcott and the OX where all desperately needed.
Japan v Greece = dire.
Argentina to score more tomorrow than entire goal total of the 2 preceding games. They'll click at some point (need to start Gago and Higuain) and form a punting perspective it suits me it's Iran copping it than Nigeria.
