I've no doubt some of them do. Harry Redknapp (Ex-Spurs manager and once touted for the England job himself) is all over the back pages over here at the moment for saying just that.

Of course, there are plenty of players that pick up mysterious "niggles" before international friendlies, yet are perfectly healthy to play for their club sides very next fixture. Steven Gerrard is notorious for it.
