I thought I would never use an octave in a band setting until I got an Octron. With the octavia upper octave fuzz combined with the lower octave, you get a great sound on bass (especially combined with a phaser as I do). It will fit nicely on your board and are modestly priced for what you get.

Hey, that's a nifty lookin' one, haven't seen that before, thanks. Quick tracking? How low does it go?

The octave I had was built into my SWR 350x and honestly was the only good thing about that POS amp. :rollno:

Whoa, I had no idea those Ultrons were so pricey! They look cool but if I was going to spend that much on a filter it would definitely be a Meatball. :D

Oh yeah, odds are I'm going to fill the gap with a delay of some sort, I miss having one.

Okay, the gap has been filled! Well actually I scooched over the Psilocybe and Analog.man to make room at the end for the new guy, who happens to be:

I've only spent a little bit of time with it, but WOW. Coming from a Moog I figured a smaller envelope filter might be a compromise. That is simply not the case. The sound quality is amazing, the controls are intuitive and useful, and, most importantly, NO VOLUME ISSUES. The only gripe is that I have a huge blister on my thumb from removing all the puffy backing to replace with velcro, d'oh!

Now excane will be happy for me. :)

Great pedal, nad. I had one of those for a while and really loved how warm and natural it sounds. It's not the wildest filter out there, but within its range, it's the best I've heard.

Unfortunately, mine had no place in the music I'm currently playing, so it was sold to another TB'er to finance other toys. If I'm ever in the market for a dedicated filter again, I'll get another Disco-Bob for sure.

I just put the velcro strips right on the foam pad and it worked fine for me.

Yeah, getting that entire foam pad off before you apply the dual-lock is a bitch.
I used an X-acto and bestine. (Most any solvent, even rubbing alcohol will help)

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE post some samples of the Emma :D Show us what it can do. I so want to replace my EBS BassIQ, but I need a reason heheh.

my Delay is always on, i use a Roland Space Echo. Boss just came out with the reissue, but, it is in pedal form. I LOVE MY SPACE ECHO!

Yeah, that there is a killer tone. I tried it with the Bob first and that sounded okay, but afterwards, wawaweewaow!

I have an active bass showing up tomorrow (not going into work to wait for Mr. Brown even :D ), I'll let you know. My other active bass hasn't worked for months, I really need to get it fixed. :scowl:
