Filter posts in a thread?

Is there a way to only show posts/replies in a thread by the original poster? There are some threads in which I would like to only see the OP's posts, such as some of the "diary of..." threads.

No exactly a filter per say, but I found this solution:
- clic on the search icon on the top right
- clic on the cog icon to show the search option
- select "this thread"
- in the "by" field, enter the name of the author
- clic "search"

You get a list like this:
