I'm very anxious to see this at some point. I think it was 1979 ish or so. My mom let me pick a record from Columbia House and I picked We Sold Our Soul for Rock 'n' Roll. They have been my favorite band ever since.

VPN is great. I once got a warning letter from my internet/cable company for downloading a movie off a torrent site. Immediately got a VPN because they don't respect your privacy. They use VPN's for their computers, but two can play that game, chum.Use a VPN and change to a few diffrent countries. you'll get it![]()
This is 100% true!I also maintain that the so-called Prince of Darkness has taught far more people about genuine love, peace, and acceptance than any preacher.
Geezer is still one of my biggest influences! He wrote the playbook for heavy metal bass guitar after all.The way Geezer created basslines that drove the music but managed to bounce around and be lively was such a big influence on me when I was first starting to play as an 11 year old kid in the mid 80s.
Me too. I call it the "easy reader" like your first reading book, Jack and Jill.Iron Man was the first riff that I learned.
I have seen Ozzy 4 times (first time was on his no more tours tour 30+ years ago) & luckily one of those times was with the original Black Sabbath lineup. I was really close to the stage for Black Sabbath and it was absolutely amazing.
I hope the lads are feeling great about a job well done.
You have my utmost sympathies. It's a cruel degenerative thing to have. My dad has it and it can come on fast too.
Can you see this one?
I'll wrap this up now, I have to finish cutting these onions over here...
This is cool
Incidentally, the bass Geezer used on Paranoid was the same bass he used on the last show of The End tour. He posted a pic on Facebook of the original P he used to play Paranoid the first time, and a pic of that Lakland bass next to it.

I suppose he had two then. That one got smashed on a flight.I love the Sabbath purple tolex on his cabs!
That P bass looks different than this one, which appears to be natural finish.

I’m not gonna argue with Geezer about what bass he played when. That P bass looks different than this one, which appears to be natural finish.
