Probably it's the nature of these later pictures, but it looks like the walnut has lightened some? I love the combination of the rich, reddish orange hue of the cocobolo with the chocolaty layers of walnut/wenge. Nice work!

Oops, sorry about that. It's my first time using zshare...I'll make the change in a bit.

Yeah, I'm really into those particular colors at the moment. I think that with the finish dry, it's not quite as dark. That and the lighting in the room. It's all still pretty dark, though the headstock is intentionally lighter (by selection of the wood).

Yeah, I'm really digging the DC Nords, and would love to keep using them for my personal basses. As it is, I've got to keep looking for them used. I'll have some time this afternoon to run this bass through a couple different Eden amps, and will see just what EQ-ing will do...
