Finally Dowsized

sick of breaking my back, have been researching and trying different amp's and cab's . Try Ampeg SVT 7 PRO ,liked the sound , but second gig amp started cutting out . Brought back to G.C. picked up Markbass Little Mark Tube 800 watt, with Avatar B212 4ohm 1000 watt cab .My bass is a 1982 G&L L 2000 E . I was a little leary about size of Little Mark head , but it kick's ass ! It drive's the two 500 watt each 12's with clarity ,I can play any venue with this set up because I go direct to P.A.with sub's .Playing 1st gig with set up this coming weekend ,can't wait will let you know how thing's work out !!!:

jk - I went the Markbass route (LM2) several years ago- haven't regretted it. Also switched to Epi UL cabs. My back has thanked me profusely.

Hi Carl, I think he means one cab with two 12” drivers - and the OP thinks each 12 driver is 500w each.
