Wow, it looks great. Where did you buy this neck?
Ebay :)

I took a chance buying one on Ebay on my first build & got a good one. The fret ends were a bit sharp (fret job cost me $40 NZ/ $24 USD) but everything else was fine. So that went on my first jazz parts build below. So this time I bought again from the same seller. Another $40 NZ/$24 USD fret job and good to go!

Man, this parts P looks fantastic. I bet it sounds great too.

I'm also working on a P-Bass fixer-upper but you're really flipping me on the look of that pickguard..
Thanks man! It sounds pretty good, but I think I'm going to change the DR Nickels to some Dunlop Flats. I play around a lot with different strings & pickups to try get the specific tone and output I like & I'm pretty sure the Dunlop Flats will get me there. Plus, I'll play around with the pickup height.

When you get your P-bass fixer-upper sorted, don't forget to share it with us!!

That is one classy looking instrument - you nailed the cosmetics - clearly deserves that custom decal too. Hope it sounds as good as it looks!
