Finally got around to it!

have been wanting a Mojohand 442R for awhile now. finally got it!
Plugged it in last night and its amazing. i've sold off my prior filters so i could head back overseas, just starting to get back into it again.

Now i gotta acquire a MF101 and a groover regulator again to keep the filters happy!

I've had one literally since the bass version was released. No desire to sell and no real want for other filters. It's let me focus on fuzz haha. A seriously amazing little pedal.

This one has been on my radar as well. How does it compare to the Groove regulator? I found the GR to be the best sounding filtre, but unfortunatly lacking a little in wettness.

It would be really hard to compare them. Where as it's my understanding the groove filter is a very diverse filter with lots of sounds and lots of knobs the 442 is very simple. It's basically an old DOD 440 filter. It only has 2 knobs and not a huge array of sounds. But the sounds are all very musically usable. If you want over the top wet it isn't your filter.

The GR is the lowpass mode from the Meatball, isn't it? The 440/442 is a band-pass filter, with a more mid-focused resonance. It makes it a little more vowel-y and sounds more like a wah pedal. I built the BYOC version of it and loved it. I just decided I wanted a manual wah more for what I was doing.
