Haha. If only it was that simple. No, it involved chance (finding one that the guy was prepared to sell), 2 grand, and then planning it around the kid and Mrs to find a free weekend.
Depends what you call light. Compared to an equivalent sized block of concrete, yes, very lightweight.
At 61.5kg/136lb it's far from easy to lift solo for me, though I can do it to get it up steps. Fortunately it has built in recessed wheels, handles on the top, sides and bottom and a kick plate for easy manoeuvring.

Beautiful cab though! And it might have been a long drive with many stops but that bonding time is really important with kids - so win/win!
Me too, after 12 years, finally got to add a second cab, fortunately this setup is a lot lighter and more portable.
