Finally!!!!!!!!!

Ever since I was a teen I wanted a Rickenbacker Bass. I saw one at Sam Ash the other day and thought about it. Today I was just sitting on my couch and got up, got in my car, and picked up a new 4003 in Fire Glow. It sounds AWESOME!!. I have some pictures of it down below. This is the first time I am posting pictures, so I apologize if they don't come out right.

Pics came out fine...beautiful bass! Just curious...I saw one of these at a Chicago metro Sam Ash, stored in some kind of chamber. Not sure if t was a humidity chamber, or just a "hands-off" barrier. Was yours displayed that way?

No mine was on the wall and the last in store. It had only been there about 2 days. The manager told me that Ric's don't stay around.

I had a Fireglo Ric back in the late 70's early 80's and sold it because at the time I couldn't justify having more than one bass. I always regretted it. Picked up a Jetglo a couple of months ago and couldn't be happier. Yours is one of the prettier Fireglo's I've seen in the new basses. Lots of red, which is a good thing. :) Enjoy it! There's nothing like a Ric!

Hey, great pics. Especially the second one. If I went out and got a new bass, brought it home and carefully laid it on that side of the bed, all comfy and cozy with its head nestled on the pillow, my wife would attach a great deal of significance to that.
