Finding deleted items on a MAC

I have an IMAC. Use Logic Pro 7. I finally recorder 3 winning parts to a track 4 hours of editing, saved it done. I went to delete a track that was no longer needed, the new tracks were highlighted and I deleted them. I tried "UNDO" but it only brought back the tracks I didn't need!

So, where is the "trash" on a mac? I did a search and looked everywhere, is there just no place for deleted items before permanent deletion like the recycling bin on windows.

There's the Trash Can...which functions like the bin...?

If you are looking for the actual location (assuming you are runnning OS X), it is a hidden folder in your user directory called .Trash (the "." makes it a hidden folder). This means that each user has their own trash folder.

Example:

If your user name is "user1", then the directory would be:

Macintosh HD/users/user1/.Trash

I found it, just after I rerecorded everything. It was much easier to recreat the sound the second time.
