Fingerboard dots question!

    hi you all!

    what the different between the eyebirds location on the neck?
    so examples!
    why in these picture the eyebirds location in that way?
    and the other picture in a different way?
    (the second type of eyebirds fingerboard is in the next address,the picture to big,copy&paste->)

  2. Ahhh, I see that you mean the dot inlays. It's just a different style. There's no real reason for it, it's just aesthetics. They are still in the same fret locations.

    Not only that, I think they have it that way because most people play heavier strings for lower registers, and lighter gauges for solos..so they put the dots closer to those areas of relevance.
