Fingertip Small cuts(like paper cuts)

Yeah, welcome to Colorado.
It is a constant battle and I’ve never adjusted. You’ve gotten some great recommendations including the ones I use. Also, I run multiple humidifiers non-stop, but getting up above 50 is simply not realistic here much of the year.

10-20 RH is way too low... need to humidify that room until it hits the 40-50 range. Because of the low humidity, you most likely have dry, cracked skin which is susceptible to breakage.

I bought a couple humidifiers but got lax on leaving them on.
Agreed highest humidity i can get is a full 24/7 humidifier with doors closed can get my bedroom to 40

In fact some of my bass frets became sharp on parts of the fingerboard, I wish i knew to acclimate instruments before my move.

Bag Balm works great. I would apply it before bed and wear some light gloves , as it can be a bit greasy.

FWIW, in a "emergency" after a fretting finger-tip knife cut before a gig where I was playing guitar I used rubber finger cots, like book keepers use for counting money. I went through 2-3 in a half hour, but they worked.
