aesthetically, I'd tint the fret markers brown. I think it'd match nicely with the brown/tort you have going on.

I'll probably do a bunch of things to it if I keep it. I really just wanted to toss it together before I go out of town.
I haven't had a chance to try it on the big amp, but they sound great direct and are dead quiet, even next to my computer monitor. I'll know more once I get them on a gig (when I get back)/

Beautiful! Love that color... one of the things I like best about firermist gold is how much the color varies depending on the light.
QFT. Makes me wish I was that damn fence. Friggin' thing has "held" some of the coolest basses I've seen.

This is the color I'm going with on my on order Nordy, w/matching headstock and tort guard as well...
Firemist? I'd call that color combination molten pumpkin, but that's just me. 
That IS a beautiful color. In addition to that tort, I'd bet it would also look pretty awesome with any number of pickguard colors. I'm thinking black, chrome, brass, gray, perloid colors, etc...
