First bass refinish

ok gang hear is the start of my first bass re-finish.

It started out as a black Yamaha RBX170. just started sanding it a couple days ago and here are the pics so far:

This is the back sanded in a couple hours.... I am very pleased with the natural look of the wood :)

Here is the front... did this last night.

Next plan is for the sides... not bringing them down to bear wood... my son got the idea to leave them black and just an edge on the front and back with the rest natural. I though... hmmmm that will work... and be like nothing no one has seen before... at least not on this type of bass...

Also going to change pick up to Music Man style. Using EMG for this... and have a musicman picgaurd... will post more as I get them finished :) Comments, suggestions... and criticisms, as long as corrective please, are more then welcomed!!!!

I SEE BASSES! and no advertisements, warnings or black-outs!

Actually I'm amazed that not very many people use Picasa and establish a forever-and-ever website for themselves --- FREE of course!

Download Picasa and it will allow you to file/edit/color correct and fine tune your pixs and also gives you a lot of storage space to save them on GOOGLE's computers, not yours -- so they never get lost of shut off for lack of activity.

All you need is a Google account to get it all started.

I will check this out thanks :)

edit:

Thanks I have them up on Picasa now :)

Just right click on your individual pix when it's up to full size in the Picasa album, and click on Copy Image Location and then put that link in between the code of
and they'll be here to see.
