purpleheart 1/8" midplate
3 pc thick top of 5A white flame maple, and box elder burl with holly and bois de rose stripes

I did 2 other designs but those will stay a secret for a while
and I am glueing up rstar #2

one is for rudy remake 1
and the other is for another design,
its lace sheoak , curly white ash and wenge
for a one piece lace sheoak back
lace sheoak is so strange, I didnt contrast that photo, it sucks in so much light freq, it screws with the pictures light balance!
look at the wood, scraps below the table they are in normal color balance/saturation!
how weird!

i havent had much time to move on these but I have been busy prepping for the next bunch.

I am slotting and fretting the fingerboard for the buckeye/pale moon munch #1
the bridges come tomorrow.
now i'm waiting for the trussrods.

in the meantime I am busy creating like a mad scientist!

this is kind of a tribute to a ritter I loved, a deep carved macc ebony top. I told jens and he turned red at NAMM.
it was at last years NAMM but he had an orange back

I love these designs! both the back of rudy I remake and secret SC are circassian walnut burl.
and have been filling the white top back for weeks!
just ask chris B about filling the white top voids!
a bottle here, a bottle there, a cup of wenge dust and black epoxy....
