So, I've decided to build something. I'm not going to lie about what I have and have not done myself. The wood was pre-routed by Warmoth, because I've always respected their work, an I wanted it to be spot on.
A little back story:
I originally wanted to make an updated version of the '51 P-Bass, but I love my Ibanez GSR200FM. The original plan was for this bass to have a similar body. After some happy tracing incidents, I decided that I needed better access to the higher frets.
Without further ado, I present the beginnings of my very first build.
Note: The Squier neck is just there to give an idea of how it might look, I'm going with a J-bass neck in the final build.
