First build - Will take a long time!

Hello, TBers!

For the past few years, i've had a great urge to spend my free time a little more productively. I am no woodworker, actually i think im pretty bad at doing things that require patience, attention to detail etc.

But still, not really caring about my realistic thoughts, my urge persisted. Until I decided to finally take the plunge and try to make my own bass guitar.

At the moment I am in process of collecting wood, tools, hardware... And I am just starting to design my bass. It will be a bolt on, made of alder body and maple neck with maple fretboard. I've always wanted a maple neck/fretboard bass, but never got around to actually buying it... So this is why. It will be Musicman Stingray inspired, with MM or Jazz pickups.

This is it for my first post, and now lets get to work. Next time i come around, i hope i'll have something to show for it.

Have a great day,

Blockhd
