Ginger has a Single EMG 35DC with a B64 pre (thanks to distorted bass).
Blondie has an EMG J-set

She is a joy to play, and the EMG B64 pre I bought from Distortedbass, combined with the flats I strung her with give her a really evil tone. The fretless neck I got from Reddog is so sweet and smooth. I got really lucky with this build.

Looks great! Is it a 34" scale? And what is the finish?

I built it using a SX short scale fretless neck, so it's 30", the body is ever so slightly larger then a guitar Les paul. I attached the top strap button at the neck plate like Gibson does with the EB-0, and it balances amazingly well.

The finish is Minwax polyurethane stain with poly clear coats. The top laminate is something I picked up at home depot that was meant to be the end cap for enclosing a dishwasher!

she was built to be a twin of the Fretless Jazz named Blondie. My neighbor (who's a huge Les Paul guy) took one look at her, listened for a while and said, "She should be named Ginger, 'cos she's beautiful and evil all at the same time"

nice job on the LP - what does it weigh? It looks so much larger than your Jazz but maybe it's a visual trick. How's your right hand/arm?

The bridge placement is different on the two, but also, the guitar stands are different, putting the LP higher than the J. Optical illusion!
