I just started playing bass about 3 months ago. Still rank beginner, of course, but I'm a whole lot better than I was a month or two ago. Anyway, this first gig is for my best friend's spring concert. His choir class is going to sing Bohemian Rhapsody by Queen, and he wants me to play bass for it. So, I've got till Spring to learn how to play it. I'm going to get one of my guitar playing friends to play guitar for the song and join me in playing. Since I've got a few months to learn the song, it should go over fairly well. Oh my goodness, I hope it does.
