My first proper gig was a bit of a farse, it was at my 18th birthday party. I put my band on first so we could get absolutely wrecked afterwards (p.s. mission accomplished

It went ok except my mic was crap and if I even glanced slightly at my guitarist it decided not to pick anything up, and then someone spilled something purple and sticky on my new bass later in the evening. However all things considered everyopne loved it, including my grandparents who hate rock music. Which is pretty amazing considering we played Metallica, Goldfinger and Ac/DC songs plus a few of our own. Its piss poor now that the rest of my band is leaving me for another project which totally sucks, and thats not just me being bitter. C'est la vie.
