Thanks for sharing. For your first pedal board you are already ahead of the curve. Choosing a reliable, isolated power supply is something that takes a while for some of us to arrive at.

Direct into an audio interface. Studio monitors with a sub that can deal with 83 or so decibels ok.
I’m going out into an audio interface. If I do need a DI path that’s a good suggestion.
I’m overly pleased with myself over the $9 short C13/C/14 power cable that has an on/off switch.

IF you ever experiment with a different compressor, maybe try one with a true side-chain — that way you can trigger it from a clean signal direct from your bass, but still place it in the signal path wherever you like.

I’m curious to hear how well that works after some gigs (if you ever have to tune during). You’d need most effects off to tune properly.
The pedal order “rules” are really just suggestions based on what works well for many people. Whatever works for you is fine.
Wait what’s the benefit/desire for these, I’m not quite following? Is it the On/off switch? The extra jack so you don’t have to go underneath into the actual power supply’s jack?
For me, I have a power strip that a few pieces of gear are connected to, including my pedal board. Most other gear on that strip has on/off switcing, but my board does not. It would be nice to be able to power up my synths or amps and leave the board off. As it is now, once the strip is on then the board goes on, even if I’m not going to use it.
It's the on/off switch to avoid unplugging the power cable. The power supply itself doesn't have a switch. The situation is home studio, and the power cable is a pain to get to behind a desk.
Looking great! We need to hear some Digital Man with that setup. The YYZ pedal probably nails all those Tones from that era.
Thanks @DigitalMan and @monsterthompson! That is a great solution! I don’t have that same use case but the right c13/c14 cable without the power switch might work nicely for my board. Appreciate the idea and food for thought!!
