Was your PA any good and did you know how to use it? Maybe he thinks you suck because it didn't sound as good as his other bands.

My band played in a well known local blues club a few years ago. We did play mostly blues but threw in a couple of Beatles songs. The barmaid hated The Beatles and let us know it.
Brian is upset because my wife brought her own monitors and splitter, as she is prone to do.
Must not be Skipper's Smokehouse...they're still open it looks like. What dump was it?My band played in a well known local blues club a few years ago. We did play mostly blues but threw in a couple of Beatles songs. The barmaid hated The Beatles and let us know it. The owner shorted us but we just shrugged it off. Never got invited back but that didn't stop me from playing there on jam nights. Even played there (jam) the last night before it closed for good.

Bah...that club will be long gone in a year or two. I have never regretted telling a club owner to eat it because in every single case, the club went belly up soon after. And let's say it doesn't go belly up...who cares? It's a dump and they probably played for chump change, so I wouldn't sweat it.
Now if it was a nice place with decent pay, that's another story...I'd be smooching so much ass my nose would stink!
Why on earth would that upset anyone?
thought that sounded familiar, I lived in Clearwater, FL. & worked in St. Pete area...Dave's Aqua Lounge.
...can't tell if serious...
