First time posting a gig story

Hi Mr. Sleedo,

Of course! But my gf got video of Deacon Blues

Hey! You guys do nice work, excellent rendition. I've always enjoyed Steely Dan and have played many of their tunes over the years. I wish I had time for a Steely Dan tribute band but the three other tribute bands and the cover band I'm involved in don't allow much time. ;)

That was a nice recording. Was that direct off the board?

Thank you for your indulgence,

BassCliff

Thanks for the kind words! It is a lot of work, we rehearsed for about a year before taking a paying gig.

Amazingly that recording was direct from a Samsung S8 phone! I have some audio from a Tascam recorder's mics and it is no better than the phone. We didn't have the drums or guitar amp miked so the board recording ain't much use.

First time poster, long time lurker...
Had an outdoor gig this past Sunday at a local historical society. We set up in the barn and the crowd sat on the lawn picnic style. The gig went really well and we were asked back for later in the summer. My lead singer is a fellow bass player and he and I have identical Fender Rumble 500s, he brought his and we stacked them which sounded great. The promoter of the show owns a studio and he remarked on the quality of the tone. We scared the guitar player out of starting any volume wars which was fun. I also played my first time wearing IEMs and that worked out well too since the stage was so tight and I was so close to the drum kit. In the last pic I'm posing with my rig and haven't changed into my gig attire yet.
