String change did the trick. I have a MB Nano 300 I sometimes use for small gigs thru a GK 112, 115, or even 110 cab (Backline 110 with a dead amp), but have trouble finding the tone I like with my Honey Burst P (no Grease Bucket), Orig. '62 pup, and Sunbeams. I remembered an old set of LaBella LTFs in my drawer and swapped strings. No more finding the happy tone place problems with this amp. I don't have that problem with Sunbeams on the P with my GK 700RB-II head, or with a J in general. Carry on. Bd
