Fixing a nut with cotton

I thought I'd share this little quick fix that I've been using for a while. This is for filling in a nut slot.

1. Get a cotton ball and pinch a tiny piece of it and ball it up.
2. Put a drop of Super glue in the nut slot.
3. With a toothpick, insert the tiny cotton ball in the slot and let it soak up the Super glue and mash it down with the toothpick.
4. Let it dry.

The cotton will become as hard as plastic and will bond to the nut.
