Flashlight: Parliament w/Prince on Bass!

Write a will.:rollno:
Allow me to explain...

I mean it's not like the tight Tower Of Power-style funk. It's more laid back; not depending on perfect, precise interplay with drums/bass/horns/etc. I personally prefer this type of groove, although I dig all kinds of funk. I'm sure the P-Funk Mob can play any way they want to. And it certainly wasn't a swipe at Prince - I love me some Prince!

Believe me - there's no bigger P-Funk fan than me!

I did not think you were taking a swipe at anybody. I was just engaging in some dark humor.

I re-watched the Rave Un2... DVD a couple of weeks ago and the only part of it that I don't like is when Prince tosses that bass across the floor after his jam with Larry Graham. I mean, even Warwicks deserve better than that! :D

At that time, I think he had some sort of endorsement with Warwick. Prince could afford to toss basses the way I MIGHT toss picks!
