Recently put a set of Labella's (760fx) on my Lakland and ended up going back to Chromes....After trying pretty much every flat out there I just personally like the Chromes for sound and feel

I thought it was a nice thread idea. I'm feeling slothful about going and taking a picture and uploading it to TalkBass. :-(
Haha. Most of us have more photos of our basses on our phones/computers than we do of our children. Can't win 'em all, I guess.
TIJFs on my previously-owned Squier VM Fretless Jazz
Ernie Ball Cobalt Flatwound on my Schecter Raiden Special-4 (now wearing D’Addario ProSteels)
The aforementioned TIJFs on my previously-owned Ibanez Roadstar II RB630.
A group I never expected to belong to, but I made an exception for E.B. Cobalt Flats. This may spread to other basses... I already have another set, just haven't put them on anything yet.
EB Cobalt flat ~ Must have on Jazz bass ! Lively modern sound along with meaty juicy growwwwwl !!!! Unlike ECB81, the E string just sound solid and focus even aged over 18 months !
Labella LTF4A on Squier CV50P + Fralin Split 51pup + Mute foam = Mimic the lovely bass tone that i found on Travis~Closer.
On my personal flatwound bass string usage experience more than 15 years, only EB Cobalt flat 45-100, 45-130, Group flat 45-130, Labella LTF4A and TiJF344 able give me well balance string to string tone across the fretboard, lasting tone more than a year, no dead sounding on B E string and their G string just sound meaty full.

Apparently Monday was National String Change Day. A fitting time to install Ernie Ball Slinky Cobalt Flatwounds on my SBMM Ray5. First time having flats on a 5er for several years as this is my first 5er for several years.
Tonight I’ll play it through the PA at church. Can’t wait!
