lso like the cobalt flats they sound great last a long time I have a set that has been on my bass for well over a year and still sound great. I used Chromes before but like the Rotosound 77's the tension on the neck and feel when playing was too much.

I would suggest the ECB84 set, 40-60-80-100, which have similar tension and feel to a typical 45-105 set of rounds.

I did try the ECB81 (45-65-80-100), which D'A calls "regular light". I found the 45G and the 65D anything but "light", though, as they felt noticeably tighter than the 80A and the 100E.

That said, I personally prefer Fender 9050L (45-60-80-100) over the Chromes both for tone and feel.

I recently bought a custom set of Chromes from Fret Nation: 40-55-75-100. It feels very balanced and pretty flexible. I'm still trying to decide if I like the tone on the bass I put them on, as they're still breaking in. The initial zing is pretty much gone and they're starting to sound well-balanced, with pretty even, wide frequency response. But the jury is still out.

I have had these for years on my G&L SB-2:

Almost all my basses (past & present) have been fitted with Chromes or GHS Precision flats.
A set of La Bella Low Tension Flatwounds is currently on its way, for a try on my newly acquired G&L JB-5.

0.50 = 50/100th of an inch = might be a little too thick for your bass. I would suggest a 0.050 (50/1000th of an inch) for the G.

Been using GHS Precision Flats (.045-.095) and La Bella Deep Talkin' (.049-.109) in different basses; dig both.
I want to try Rotosound and Daddario on future.

Using Rotosound RS77 LD since Manu years on all my basses.
It can sounds a little bit too dark but keep same feeling for long time and stay well tuned.
Need to try LaBella deep to compaire, maybe on of the last have never tested.
