Flatwounds plucks hair out!?!

I could see EB Cobalt Flats doing it, they shred picks like a cheese grater. Can't say I've ever lost any hair to em. Great strings, sound good, but I've decided to stick with my beloved Chromes. Been playing rounds for the last year though.

you never touch your strings with your forearm while grabbing something or relaxing between riffs?
Ummm, no? When relaxing, I put my left arm behind the neck and pretty much rest my right arm on the top of the body, or at my side, far from the instrument. Why make contact of your sweaty body and the strings?

Same for reaching for something, I have my arms way above my bass when manipulating with something else.
