Does anyone know what equipment and or pedals Flea used for the work he did with The Mars Volta on De-Loused In The Comatorium? I know that he used a vintage P-Bass, an Ampeg SVT 4-Pro head, and an SVT 810 cabinet, but I need to know what pedals he used.

I dont think he really used many effects that would matter for that cd. There may have been some type of synth wah in there at one point for Take The Veil, but nothing crucial. Probably some compression.
I'm pretty sure he was bass->amp for the TMV stuff. I remember reading the Juan Alderete article in BP, and he mentioned that Flea had brought his Modulus' (Moduli?) and GK's, and the band told him "No, play this passive Fender and Ampeg" and he obliged.
I think perhaps on Drunkship of Lanterns there's a delay, but it may have been done AFTER the recording...or maybe it was just Omar, at it again...

JMJ only played on one track on that cd, which was Televators, and he used an upright bass...Flea went bass->amp for that album...the only "effect" he would have used is channel switching to get a bit more gain...any effects u hear on the bass (which would just be some compression at times) would have been done in post production most likely
What would be a good boost or gain boost pedal to use to get the same effect Flea has on that album?

Flea uses a 60's P bass with flatwounds, and also a fretless. Either a p or a J, I forgot which. Both were 60's though. He only used the fretless on Take the Veil, I think. He used a vintage Ampeg SVT (like what Juan is using with them now), don't know what cab though.

and say that i think Flea's playing on The Mars Volta album is some of his best sounding recorded work from the last ten years. Way cooler than the last 3 RHCP albums.
