Hi! I'm from Sweden and just wanted to share my flea market find yesterday. I was looking for garden furniture, but this one was in mint condition among all the junk. I don't know much about it, but it plays fantastic. The build quality feels really good too. BB614. Good day! Any opinions on these?

Yamaha has always made good instruments/basses. I personally have never owned one - but a guitarist friend had one and I played it occasionally. Enjoy! 
I have one, actually currently on the chopping block for me, but these are amazing basses. I really love everything about these. If I wasn’t putting together a bass that had the ability to do P/J I would absolutely not be selling it. You did good!
I love the pickups in this bass, they are a little darker and more round sounding to me than typical P/Js but you can really add some satisfying bite with the treble knob. The EQ isn’t all that powerful but it’s efficient, and scooping the mids all the way down gives such a funky tone.

Pretty much everything Yamaha makes is great
All I know is this : it’s a million times more exciting than any gardening stuff !
I’m not a fan of Yamaha basses but they are usually very high quality and survive very well over time so if you like the sound, you’ll love it.

Great bass! I’ve been thinking about picking up the 5 string version in case the need arises.
Workhorse bass. I have a friend that owns the 5 string version (615 maybe?) and he’s worn out two sets of frets on it. It looks rough, but sounds and plays great (after refrets!).
Great number 1 bass or excellent backup bass. It would also make good trading stock if you don’t bond with it…

Why on earth someone put a bass that nice in a flea market would be an interesting back story.

Last of the BB's made in Yamaha's Taiwan facility, one of the last series of BB's with the metal pickup surrounds, always a BB visual signature.
