Floating thumb technique, wrist angle while descending

Tv crimes black sabbath cover. At 2:18 while descending the strings I notice not ideal posture while plucking... geezer butler also pluck across the body of his bass. It is a bad posture? Can you watch the video and give some advice of the posture. I am doing floating thumb but with the wirst a bit separated of the fingers. Is that wrong??

It's not as bad as you might think. A certain posture or habit is only bad for you if there's long term potential for injury, and just breaking out of your technique once in a while won't hurt you.

You played the way you think was appropriate for a part of a song. Totally fine IMO, especially if you usually adhere to floating thumb. "Ideal posture" is just that - ideal, as in, something you strive to achieve but realistically is neither possible nor desirable at all times.
