Flying w/ BG

Hi from the DB side,

I'm playing in Zurich with a new music group in September and I have to bring a BG.

I was planning on bringing the bass in a gig bag as a carry on. Has anyone had problems doing this? I'm flying continental.

FYI, I just got back from a multi-country European tour (many flights to each gig). I used my good ol' SKB Bass Safe (detailed in above thread) - it worked great. Delta did lose it on my return from Germany, but I got it back unharmed in 2 days.

Don't fly w/ an instrument that you couldn't bear losing!
