FNBD: Fender Jazz

Hey gang,

first new bass for me, first musical instrument ever actually at the ripe young age of 48: 2010 Fender American Special Jazz Bass

Almost perfect condition, one little nick on the neck. Had bought a Peavey MAX 115-II for the bedroom amp to go with it, however it's just too much amp for the space so I'm taking it back. Probably get a Carvin MB210 or similar instead.

Always wanted to learn to play bass since I was a teenager, now I finally will......

Congrats bro! I bought my first base last year at the age of 44, lol. So where in the boat. I bought a mim jazz deluxe active and purchased 2 more since then..ill give u 6 months before u have a GAS attack!

Im looking to get the same bass now mainly because I want a passive jazz..

Excellent choice for a first bass, or last bass, for that matter. May I suggest that you look at an Ampeg Micro Vr or one of the Ampeg Portaflex series rigs?

Excellent first (or any number) bass! I’ve got a Jazz with the same finish and tort, and it’s my favorite finish combination.

I started later in life, as well, but it’s definitely not “too” late.
