Nice. BTW, I think I'm beginning to like the look of the Standards more than the Deluxes simply because the black control knobs on the Standards are placed in the black painted area.

The black things in the light area, especially the J pickup, tend to throw off the affect of the Yin Yang symbol for me.

If I were to get another Yin Yang, it would probably be a Standard, but if it were to be a Deluxe, I'd probably ask for a white or cream cover on the jazz pickup at the bridge.

At any rate, great looking bass.

My vote is for an Ant Wellington signature. Ant comes and delivers it to your house and gives a lesson.

Speaking of Anthony Wellington, my Emperor 5 was inspired by him.

I was watching the Groove Workshop DVDs and thought, "You know, there are 4 Foderas in that room, and the tone I like the best is Ant's ash and maple Emperor with single coils..." and that started the hunt that led to my current Emperor. I love it; it's a keeper.

It's macassar. I promise. I have spent some time with that bass and was going to order an Imperial just like it years ago. I think I have a couple better pics at home that I can share.

I have a bunch of live cuts from the cover band he used to be in here in the DC area. His playing is just amazing and his tone is completely unreal. After he left, I filled his role in that band and it was never the same. His flavor and note selection was incredible as well. I can ask him if he doesn't mind me posting some of those recordings... for reference tone sake of course .
