Jason probably knows more than me but those were custom built (with Fodera logo and slightly different shape) Hipshot A type bridges in either brass or aluminium. They used them for a short while between the original Fodera bridge with all the screws on and the one they use now which looks like the old one but doesn't have all the screws. Or I could be wrong, it might have just been a custom option at one time in the past. I'm pretty sure they haven't used for a while - I'm guessing late nineties.

No, way, it when it's along all the others there's a dip in the heights. It even has shorter horns that the one right next to it.. almost like Me'shell's Custom short scale Fodera. Nobody else sees it?

is that not just sitting in the stand a little lower?( it is the orange one, you are referring to, no?)

Pretty close! We currently have two people making our bridges...one version goes on the Customs and is made by HAZ and the other goes on the NYC's and Standards and is made by Hipshot. Same basic design, same functionality, same materials, nearly the same mass...one costs us a few bucks less than the other to have manufactured.

The bridge in question was a transition with Hipshot before we were able to get them to manufacture the Fodera bridge for us...we do not use them anymore.

As for wanting more information about the next instrument in the Standard line, I can offer nothing more right now...oops, I just did! LOL
