I think there might be one going to the show I like a bit more, but that bass is stunning. The grain around the pickups look like a vortex coming off a wing. Like the bass is going supersonic.

We are not and will not...the Certified Pre-Owned that we are taking to NAMM is an AJ Presentation Shaped bass, NOT a Presentation. It does not have a carved top, has a different scale length, different woods...however, back in the days that it was built, the shop was much looser with throwing around "Presentation." We now (I believe rightfully) have a very specific definition...a Presentation was never meant to have two pickups or a circuit and if it does...it simply cannot be a Presentation.

Just checking out all the new basses for NAMM. I thought Fodera wasn't calling anything out of AJ's specs a presentation anymore.

The NAMM basses look incredible. If I ever cave in and order a new Fodera, I'd want it to have a Walnut Burl top like that Emperor II 5.
