for some reason the nut on my fodera isn't wide enough for D string above .55 Gauge.. .60 won't fit

is there any way i can widen the nut myself? How would i do this?

I would really hate to have to bring it to a tech cause they will prob charge me like 75$ dollars for it

Found this on the Sadowsky club. Figured you Fodera guys would get a kick out of it

I got skills bro, on bass and finding basses:bassist:
Just curious, are you constantly buying and trading Fodera and other basses in search of the "one"? Or do you just like getting your hands on as many incredible basses as possible. I'm not knocking this, more power to you. In fact every time i see one of your ads in the classifieds I know it is going to be something cool. Has there ever been a Fodera that you acquired that you regret selling?

I wish I knew the answer:p Probably a little of both actually. I have regretted selling probably about 10 of the roughly 40 Fodera's I have owned at one point.:help:

Ari has had some smoking basses. I bought a Ken Lawrence from him that is absolutely amazing. KL's is another one of those vendors who builds some incredible masterpieces.

We'll if you find a chestnut 34" 5 that you don't want, please give me a heads-up! :bassist:
