That's awesome. I know you told the specs beforeBut cool if you post them again

That fingerboard will look crazy good.

I know that the instrument is real, the only thing that I want to check with Joey about is the black finish. Back to you guys later this morning.
Regards,
J
Received the great Monarch 4 Standard a few days ago. It was a very nice delivery indeed! "Someone", who will remain nameless, accidently forgot to tell me it was shipped (no one at Fodera!).
I got home shortly after noon, only to find I missed the FedEx man! I had an appointment that evening so I was not going to be able to pick it up at 8 pm from the FedEx hub.
I called and they said they would not be able to try a redelivery and I would have to wait until tomorrow. But..... I was traveling all day tomorrow!!!
The FedEx delivery guy just happens to live nearby and recognized the Fodera brand. He brought it by to try and redeliver it while I was writing an email saying I was not going to be able to get it! Lol how sweet is THAT!!!!
The Monarch is So easy to play. I can't describe how easy. I am truly not exagerating to say I only have to think about what I want to do and not even worry about the bass. Truth. Now, I have to work on technique etc. but the bass almost plays itself.
Tone is .... well.... its just perfect. Sustain, intonation, you name it. No dead or soft spots, its just perfect. Sound can go from dirty to very clean. I just cant say enough good about it. The fit, and finish are..... well, here is that word again.... Perfect!
Thanks, so much Jason, et al. I was really missing my Monarch I sold. Honestly, I like this one even better. I will always think of you, dude, when I see the butterfly knowing you and your family picked it out. You guys make great basses.

I was just waiting for someone to ask
Imperial Matt Garrison Shape, 5 string
No Inlay Brazilian Rosewood fret board
34” Scale
Neck Through (Elite)
24 Large Frets
Seymour Duncan Dual Coil Pickups (60s Spacing) Matching Wood Covers
Solid Chestnut Top - LAST ONE!!!
5 piece Maple neck, Walnut stringers
Walnut Body, Alder Toneblock
17.5mm bridge
Gold Hardware

The only change from my original post of specs is that the hardware is now gold instead of black, and I asked them to ship the bass with the ramp uninstalled.

It was SUCH a BLAST! Wow. To be frank, that entire band exceeded my expectations, and my expectations were impossibly high to begin with.Have fun Tom! Bet it will be a blast!
