Just curious, what's the difference between the Standard case and the custom case?

The Custom Case has a crushed red velvet interior, "Elephant Skin" exterior with an embroidered Fodera logo on the outside and is generally built to a higher level of quality all around.

The Standard case has a Tolex exterior, black interior and has a silkscreened logo on the outside of it.

I dont think I will ever put my Fodera (pending) in another case. I think the case it comes in will be the only case I will use for that bass.

+1 (though mine are in the garage wrapped in plastic)

i find it easier to keep a gig bag near me at all times when i'm out on a gig and so forth. less cumbersome than a case.

Ok, not correct - my Fender tweed cases and the Fodera teardrop are nice living room accessoires

Same here. I use a double gig bag for everything.

The Fodera cases sure are purdy though.

I use an igig bag for my Fodera and have the case in a closet. If I were to store the bass long term or travel with it, the case would likely be used. Just prefer to transport it in my back when gigging and such.

yeah, I kinda feel like having a Fodera bag with name/butterfly logo on it is just asking for trouble. I like carrying nondescript bags with me so nobody knows that I'm carrying $15,000+ on me at any given time....The black IGiG bag is pretty great, as is my Harvest leather bag. That one gets me tons of compliments and i always think, "HA, if you only KNEW what was in here!"

Sorry, another question in regards to those Ti Tuners;
How much weight is one actually saving when compared to the regular 'Y' key ultralites (assuming that the 'Y' key hipshots are the ones copied?)?

I think my next gig bag will be the reunion blues continental. I have an igig and 2 mono cases.
