Jason, how are those October YYS's coming along? I realized today that I budgeted being able to afford one by October perfectly, now the waiting is much more difficult because I know I can actually make payment!

That would be a cool but likely very expensive upgrade. Are there any benefits to titanium tuners? Weight, durability, tone;), etc?

That's awesome!!!

Hmm. I have a feeling this Presentation II will be very heavy... with the solid neck-through interior, titanium bridge/truss rod, plus extra wood for the acoustic part. Maybe the extra tuner weight will balance better? Plus the benefit of better tone? I can't wait to see this bass.

AJ wanted them so we all worked with the person that fabricates our Ti bridges to make them. We had to get permission from Hipshot to use the Ultralite design. They gave permission because the ones we were making were for AJ. They are insanely expensive. They weight less than a set of Hipshot Ultralites. Hipshot does not work with Ti (and does not want to). I spoke with them on Friday. At this moment it appears like we will NOT be using Ti tuners on future Presentation II's...but discusions are continuing.

Regards,

J

We weighed the Presentation II on Thursday. It weighs 11.2 pounds.

In the past they have all been sold through Fodera. IF AJ did not keep #10 (his current Presentation) and if he asked us to help let it find a new home, that new home would be a museum of some sort...

We are hoping that he will keep #10, but throughout his time with us he has only ever played one instrument at a time, so who knows?

J

AJ gives them back!? And then what happens? Of course a few of them have been sold. Does Fodera LLC handle those transactions?

What a coincidence, I'm sorta trying to build a museum in my house. It closed to the public though.
