i think you will like the c string a lot more if you spend some time getting to know it. in other words, try doing something like spending a little time every day playing *only* the c string and see how to get the most out of it. just an idea.

Took the fretless to my jazz house band things last night. Usually there are a couple of bass players so I was planning to play keys, but I was the only bassist there. Spent the entire night on the fretless and never took the YYD out of the bag. The bass is spectacular.
