Fodera Yin-Yang Standard Wait Support Group

I have bonded with my Rob Allens. No interest in flipping them at all. Problem is they really won't cover all the gigs I do. So far I've bonded with my AmDlxP but it really won't cover everything either. There is a third type of sound I'm going for which is in the Fodera/etc tone universe. Just picked up an Elrick as an experiment but will check one of these out when they hit the street.

Folks, just a quick update...we continue to be very much on target (perhaps even a bit early) for the July 1 ship date that we announced for the first Yin Yang Standards. They are coming together beautifully. Two days ago Vinny was fitting the first neck pockets to the necks (I will get photos posted on our website either today or early next week)...

The first bodies will be painted next week and the first necks are already fretted and painted...

Cheers,

J

The first two were Serial numbers YY1P and YY2P and they were the original prototypes that we brought to NAMM. One is staying here in the shop (#1) and the other belongs to Victor Wooten (#2).

Starting next week we will be delivering YYS0001 and be shipping roughly ten (10) per month. You can pretty easily figure out an approximate date for yours based on that...sometime in late August!

Cheers,

J

So were these #3 thru #7? Just trying to gauge when #22 might be :bassist:

Thanks for the explanation J.

We will be shooting a whole bunch of pics as we finish the first ones and posting them on our website...you guys will have plenty to look at!

I will also say (as someone that has probably played one of these more than anyone so far...I have been using the first demo on and off since January), that we are very proud of what we have achieved with these basses. They are totally Fodera and yet, hopefully, more within the reach of a wider set of players. My YYS is comfortable in EVERY playing situation that my Yin Yang Deluxe is...

We are very much looking forward to hearing from you all and see what your thoughts are!!

J

Great news, Jason! Can you post some good pics of the finished ones next week?

August can't come soon enough.
