FOH Speaker Help

After a LONG process, my church has finally agreed to purchase new speakers to add to the very under powered, and mostly donated system.

Do you guys have some recommendations for FOH speakers. I am leaning towards powered due to it would be much simpler to add to our system.
The budget has not been set, however, I would guess that $1,500 to $2,000.
We have a dual 18" powered sub which is behind the drummer and below the cross. The drums are electric.
The picture below is taken from the edge of the balcony, which is not terribly large.
Any help would be appreciated.

Beautiful sanctuary. Are you flying the new speakers where the existing speaker is?

Are you flying the new speakers where the existing speaker is?

No. They will be at the floor level. These new ones will probably be placed in front of the piano and also in front of the organ.
The current issue is that the sound stage is too high. The current main speakers are located behind the screen, high on the left and in the same place on the right side. I did an experiment with my old EV PA speakers in the same locations and the result was fantastic.
