I'm always uncertain of the actual bass line for the Fm7; is it C F Bb Eb or C F C Eb?

Here is the original version (I believe).
I'm not fond of how the bassist delineates the iv chord (Fmin7) during the solos - I like hearing a stronger movement to, and delineation of, the iv7 chord.
HH and WS sound great.
