For Rush fans

I saw Geddy Lee last week at his book tour with the wife in LA. Jack Black was the interviewer...he had great stories about Alex.
Geddy spent time at the Baseball Negro league museum in Kansas City a few years back, he donated a large sum as well...i saw the 2112 tour where Rush opened for Ted Nugent, it was of course the early material, the sound those 3 guys created was mind boggling at the time...unreal.

Saw Geddy last night in Toronto...he had a great hour long chat with Alex....
Any mention about if they are going to do another project?
I was also at the Toronto show last night. Fantastic seeing 2 old friends shooting the blah blah blah.
There was some nudge and a wink regarding future projects. But it was obvious that they didn’t want to spill any beans at this time.

I saw the 2112 tour in NYC at the Palladium many moons ago as well. Cheap Trick, UFO & Rush. Not too shabby a lineup!

I've written songs with a few guitar chords whose names I can never properly keep straight. So in stead of saying "I think this is some kind of an E9th chord?" I play it and tell the guitarist I'm showing the part to "I only really know this one as the first chord of Purple Haze." Another I use is one I stole from Neil Young. I couldn't tell you what its proper name is normally. I just looked it up. An app insists that it's a Dm6. I call it the Damage Done chord. I have an A that the important sounding partial on top of it is just another A. So I have no idea how to verbalize that I want THIS particular A, and not THAT one. I've got ten or twelve chords I use occasionally that I have no way to express what they are without a guitar in my hands.

Basically, I'm a mostly self taught guitarist. So when I write songs, I often use chords that I remember showing up in like ONE song. I I can almost never remember what those chords were called. I don't do that on every song. But I do it fairly often.
